Discovery Commerce is a B2B ad platform by Facebook (now Meta) that helps business advertise their products using personalised data to match with customers. Holiday DisCo is Facebook’s all-year global campaign that focuses on key marketing seasons.

early 2021, facebook Tasked us with creating a modular social media campaign for 10 festive seasons and a global social toolkit for market handover. We began by developing an art direction that captured the spirit, whilst communicating the endless possibilities of personalised product pairings. colour and pattern were integral elements in our designs, creating a suite of 3d icons that aligned to key global holidays, and felt in-keeping with the brands personality. we designed beautiful kaleidoscopes that allowed us to create multiple festive combinations, switching out key products and festive icons, visually delighting the viewer. we casted and shot a range of models, representing global audiences and markets, directing them in both static and motion, to interact with our key products. after retouching, we added our cast of models to the modular suite of assets, permitting us to create multiple combinations and options for each festive season.

we produced 88 videos and 65 stills with various edits, formats and developed an extensive explainer toolkit. to its great success, the campaign will run, with further markets added, in 2022.
